Education, Tuition & Alternative Provision Support
Individualised, SEND-informed education support for children across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
I provide flexible and practical support for children who may not currently be accessing education successfully, need additional or alternative education provision, or would benefit from tailored teaching and support.
All provision is child-centred, based on individual needs and adapted to developmental level rather than simply chronological age.
Sessions may support children with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication or sensory differences, gaps in learning, anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance.
How I can help...
• 1:1 Personalised Tutoring: Delivery of core curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Bespoke Learning Pathways: Inclusion planning for children with SEMH or complex SEND profiles.
• Transition Support: Slow-paced, child-centered reintegration or long-term alternative packages.
• Community-Led Learning: Utilising local libraries, community spaces and outdoor areas to foster real-world connections.

Assessments can be tailored to EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and may include observations, curriculum-based assessment, informal or formal assessments where appropriate, and clear, actionable recommendations.
This can be particularly helpful for children who have been out of education, have significant gaps in learning, are starting alternative provision, or need a clearer picture of their current learning level.

Transition / return-to-school support
I support children and families through periods of transition, whether preparing for a new setting, returning to school after a period of absence, moving between key stages or gradually increasing access to education.
Support is tailored to the child’s individual needs and may include gradual reintroduction to learning, routine building, emotional preparation and liaison with schools and other professionals.
For children who have been out of education for some time, support can begin with rebuilding engagement, confidence and readiness to learn before expectations are gradually increased.

• Gradual reintegration planning
• Preparation for returning to school
• Transition planning and visits
• Support with anxiety and emotional needs
• Build confidence and independence
